STAKES CALENDAR
Stakes points are awarded as follows:
1st=20, 2nd=12, 3rd=8, 4th=5, 5th=3, 6th=2, 7th=1, 8th=0
In the event of a dead heat for any position during any elimination round,
each greyhound will equally share the total points for each position.
In case of a tie during an elimination round or after the final elimination round cut, greyhounds with the most number of wins shall be adjudged to have the the greater points. If a tie shall still exist, then the most seconds, thirds or fourths will decide most points. If there still a tie after comparing fourths, the tie will be broken by drawing lots. Any form of lot drawing shall be witnessed by a representative of the Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission.
